Yes, I was being paid. That's fine, but then you were soliciting... if you had applied for a permit to solicit as the officer advised, then you would have had absolutely no problems at all... you can't drive into a strange town and bend the law without expecting some consequences, this is just a fact of life... remember your similar comments to me about the law?
