Kaui perfect day is...

wake up at your condo on the Priceville cliffs. Coffee on the balcony staring at Bali Hai and the surfers just below you. Head out to Hanalei for lunch at Bubba's Burgers. I spotted Pierce Brosnan and a few other celebs there in the past. Check out all the photos on the wall at Bubba's. Steven Tyler, Anthony Keidis, etc. Then drive to the end of the North Shore and hang out on Ke'e beach. Fresh mangos fall right next to the road...they're the best ever. Ke'e beach is a great swimmin' hole. Winter time the currents can be dangerous but summer is shcaweet! Drive back to Hanalei. Have dinner at Neidi's Mexican in the Plaza right behind Bubba's.

Next day, get up and head back to Ke'e beach with your hiking boots. The Napli Coast Trail head is right off the parking lot for the beach. Hike at least to the river and if you're really adventurous, hike up the river another 45 minutes to a giant waterfall. The trail can be dangerous so don't take any short cuts and don't get cocky on it. I've seen people coming back with broken bones and concussions. It's the world's greatest view along the trail. Curvature of the earth stuff. Head back to Ke'e and jump in. No better place to be IMO.
