It's sad that in this political forum, there are people that can't tell the difference between soliciting and petitioning.

Again, you have to attack other posters, and wrongly... enough of that, if you cannot understand something, then you could always ask for clarification, but attacking under any circumstances is not warranted... and to whom specifically are you referring when you say that person can't tell the difference between soliciting and petitioning? TIA

Let's face it, from what you say, you were soliciting signatures and getting paid for it... it's plain and simple... gathering names on a petition is secondary unless you were working for free... you get nowhere fast by trying to play cute in this situation... if you don't bend then you'll break, it would have been much smarter to file for the permit and stop playing games... that's your choice... and if you want to take on city hall all by yourself, you're going to lose every time... I would think you would learn by now, but you keep making the same mistake... if you know everything, then why bother wasting your time, run for President, or even town councilman, and put yourself into a position where you could have more influence...
