Snow Canyon has to be the coolest state park I've EVER camped in.

when friends come to visit, that is usually the first place i take them (it's less than 10 minutes away and is within cycling distance, i love hiking and cycling there)...zion is fabulous, about 45 minutes away, and then of course bryce....the cool thing is there are places to go that no one has heard of where you can (if you know where to look) can be in total solitude minutes away

Other than services for wealthy people, St. George doesn't have any industry. I think it has the potential to become a really high end ghost town - not that that will happen. There are a lot of places competing for the wealthy.

more industry is coming this way, but i agree with you, it is more of a second home market, imo, (the summers are brutal, but it's a dry heat..lol)

....a ghost town though? i don't think so....i think last i read there is still something like 100 households being formed here per WEEK
