I think we are starting to see some decent tech buys in many companies. I can't argue too vehemently against buying Dell in the high teens, a better turnaround bet than HPQ at this point, lots of cash and no debt. Been at this level a couple of times over the past 9 years and always bounced. If you are a buy and holder no need to rush, the President said he sees no recession, but you might not want to believe him <ggg>. I have not done anything with Dell other than watch it for some time now, playing in other issues. I do think EMC is intriguing, right now they have a 20B stake in VMware, with a total market cap of around 32B. So, either VMware collapses or EMC looks to be a decent buy, especially as it gets closer to 2009, when they can actually do something with VMware and not incur tax penalties. I'm scalping these days, the economy is just a BIG question mark, and one sometimes gets that dreaded feeling that the financial meltdown may result in the 'big one' in the near future.
