"A lot of people think Obama is white"? You've got to be kidding. What Biden meant was that Obama isn't ghetto, not that he isn't black. Lots of black (or if you prefer "brown") people aren't ghetto but aren't white either. To say someone is "white" when they aren't seems pretty insulting to me. It's perfectly fine to be whatever color you are. Pretending people aren't the color they are seems strange (and racist) to me. I mean it's great to be whatever color you happen to be, but calling black or brown people "white" seems quite insulting, or delusional. Black is NOT synonymous with "ghetto". So Obama can be black, or brown, and lots of other great things too.
