Oh I agree Dell is much lower risk, they have no debt, loads of cash, are twice as big as they were when the stock traded at 54, and have a shot at a turnaround. The others are at this point high risk specs, although I'd bet somebody would pay good money for Sprint's customer base at some point. EMC is also a good one, I'm looking at that one for more than a very short term trade. Sandisk is another consistently profitable firm that I keep looking at, and every time I look at it the thing is down. Was 80 not all that long ago, now 23!, yet they make money and have a new joint deal with Toshiba for future flash. Of course that memory is in the toilet pricewise, but they are probably going to be a survivor.
