You might wish to take a look at Hecla Mining for silver. For 2008, not including the Greens Creek acquisition, Hecla is forecasting an annual silver production of 5.7 million ounces, at an average total cash cost of less than $1/oz. For gold production, Hecla's current estimate is in the range of 85,000 to 100,000 ounces at an average total cash cost of $537/oz. mineweb.co.za I think it has pretty much written off Venezuela.
