I always separate climate change into three issues. Others here follow it much more closely and can actually try to answer these questions.

But they always end up in an uncertain muddle for me:

1) Is the temperature or CO2 situation actually bad now compared to the past and historical trends?

2) If so, what made it bad?

3) If we are sure of the cause and the situation is bad, can it be changed?

The number of variables in that goes off the scale. And before everyone starts posting their proofs to convince me, don't bother. I'm neither for nor against, nor confident I can get off the fence. But my little voice in the wilderness won't matter on GW.

I'll save it for the few political or international topics I feel able to contribute on.
