One of the lessons I learned from my grandfather was that I must be able to speak to Presidents and laborers with equal respect, acknowledging their equal dignity under all circumstances. Everyone is of course different, but the way we see and treat all people should not be different in the important aspects no matter their station in life or, more important, how utterly different [rural vs. sophisticate, poor vs. rich, etc.] they may be from us.

I saw my grandfather's lesson in your post, and have been mystified by the response.
