You can reject Medicare and buy a private plan.....not very bright in my opinion but you can do it. This would be important to those who think Medicare offers poor coverage, bad care, and long waits, ie all the things you call wrong with national care.... Surely you'd make the sacrifice to get the care you want and would be willing to pay for it just as you think others without insurance should do....
