MASTERPIECE GAMES A SHAREHOLDER OF MASTER GAMES INTERNATIONAL

Masterpiece Games Inc. (MPA) is pleased to announce that it is a substantial shareholder of Master Games International Inc. (MGI) a newly formed Texas corporation dedicated to establishing the leading Internet chess site and staging complementary international competitions.
The Chairman of Master Games International Inc. is George W. Church, best known for having taken Church's Chicken from one store to over one thousand stores as Chairman and CEO. According to Mr. Church, "Internet games are projected to become a billion dollar industry in the near future and chess is among the largest games in the world. We have been very successful in attracting the finest human resources from throughout the world for meeting our objectives."
The technology team developing the Internet site includes Martin D. Hirsch (winner of a NASA award for software written in support of the Voyager Space Mission and two World Championships for developing the world's strongest chess-playing software) and the University of Waterloo, which is widely acknowledged as being among North America's leading computer science schools.
According to Mr. Hirsch, "the game site being developed will support a membership base of several hundred thousand which is well ahead of other Internet sites. The technology will easily support the addition of other games such as bridge, backgammon and Go."
According to Mr. Church, "the companies that are going to be successful on the Internet are the ones which combine leading technology with superior content. MPA is among the finest chess content providers in the world and we are delighted to have them as part of our team."
