Lots of copper used in air conditioners and refrigerators, which are big export items.

With US housing and commercial building down, that's less copper.
Any slow down in infrastructure build in China, and copper drops back to the low $2.20 range.

Lots of copper used in cars - radiators and wiring, and some gaskets. The bigger the car / SUV, the more copper. North American car sales are off.

Japan isn't doing well either.

I am selling across the board, except for 2X bear funds, and some Palladium and Uranium related.
