TSE: TIM Significant Pullback In TIM

With 4th quarter results to come out soon I expect that there will be a pullback in this stock. This company is greatly affected by a strong Canadian dollar and weakness in the US housing market. The strength of the Canadian dollar continues with no end in sight and the weakness in the US housing market, with continuing bad news will have an impact on this companies bottom line.

In the last reported quarter both the Silicon group and the Magnesium Group had losses compared to previous quarters with the strong Canadian dollar being responsible for a large percentage decrease in sales.

With continued strength in the Canadian dollar I see a temporary pullback in the price of this stock and believe that with any significant dips this stock would be a buy opportunity. At it's current price I believe it is overvalued and would look at it as a hold and I would be buying on dips and would continue to watch for news of a strengthing US dollar and a leveling off of the massive contraction in the US housing market. This company has had a significant run-up since last September along with significant dips. Although volatile it does have long term strength.
