If the Telcos take that long to implement ADSL then I am afraid they will miss the boat. I will soon get cable modem and I doubt I will move anytime soon unless they make an offer I cannot refuse.

I love the Long distance offers. I leave AT&T they offer me $100 to go back to them. I leave sprint to go to AT&T, Sprint offers me 100 minutes free. Then MCI offers me 5000 frequent flyer miles if I use their long distance. All this without any effort or changes on my part. NOW thats what I call an offer I cannot refuse. I doubt they will offer that with ADSL. So they will lose me as a customer.

On the bright side there will still be quite e afew customers who do not have access to cable modem. SO....
