OH MY GOD the ECONOMIC SKY IS FALLING! Looks that way. LOL, the 70's were a lot worse, and brought on by liberal politics. Of course they were a lot worse, but we are just starting this cycle. Give it a few years. Now the sky is falling because the fed rate cuts are not working, never mind that even if they dropped it to 0 it would take 6 months to have a full effect. The "6 month" tradition is for the economy to turn around, not for other interest rates to be effected by a fed move. If the fed lowers rates, and other rates don't follow, and in fact go up, then the fed action is not only meaningless but harmful. Careful, you might get hit by a falling "economic sky".
