Just went to the Russian River Barrel Tasting event ... most mind-blowing bargain was 1997 or 1998 Stonegate Napa Cab, originally $60/bottle at $50/case. Very tasty and extra delicious at that kind of rate. This was a piece of inventory clearance since Truett-Hurst bought out both Martin Family, where they are now located, and Stonegate and they were clearly out a lot of the Stonegate inventory.
