>>>A fast Internet connection does not a good trader make.<<<

Sure it does if you are trading like I do at times...when watching the tick-by-tick, 1-min hist graphs, sub-6 second Internet trade executions and instant page loading of those annoyingly slow online brokerage menus is an absolute must. One second can mean the difference of an 1/8 or 1/4 when I'm jumping on a large player's coattails at a moment's notice. So it depends on your style of trading. You must mean a position trader...but a real day trader can definately use every second gained for increased agility, no doubt. I say "real" because all too many times people claim the title of day trader, even though as soon as they hold a position past the close, they are only fooling themselves.

Also, I suppose a mobile investor has little option but to use conventional modem technology...unless you reside in the Seattle, SF Bay, or Wash.DC areas where you could sign up for wireless 128Kbps Ricochet. But, I never travel and work at the same time, so I have no need to concern myself over such details. My office is at home, so if I leave I am on vacation.

Style Pts.
