I have a very big problem when it comes to these elections basically because I do not identify with either party and dislike many of the positions the candidates take.

This election represents a horrendous choice. The only thing I like about McCain is his stance on free trade. Otherwise, the guy is an even bigger super war monger than Bush. I want these troops out of Iraq immediately. Obama claims he'll do that within 3 months, which is a plus.

The major threat to the US is not Islamic fundamentalism or any other nation, but the reckless fiscal policy of government and the way most corporations and consumers rack up debt like its going out of style. This whole nation is way out of control (and has its priorities mixed up) and I don't see any return to fiscal responsibility by either candidate here.

This country (and most Americans) needs to get real about entitlements like social security.

I'll vote for Obama over McCain, but I have my reservations. I support universal healthcare as a human right and don't see Obama's position here as supporting that. Secondly, I see taxes potentially rising dramatically for the "average guy" who Obama claims to support in order to pay for all the "goodies" he is promising. Thirdly, I see the stock market declining tremendously under an Obama Presidency as his administration ushers in an era of trade protectionism. If you think we are in a bear market now, just wait till you see what the market will be doing under an Obama administration. I sure hope I'm wrong.

In the end, I'll be voting for the lesser of two evils again.
