Sorry, but I don't believe these magazines, they are paid by the manufactures. Besides quality is not just the frequency of repairs. There is also how well it drives, free of rattles, rides, and quality of the interior accessories. And as any one who has owned them a Lexus is better than a Toyota. Note that Toyota makes the Lexus. However, they are not infalible, my brothers Lexus has a leaky power steering pump, it has 150,000 miles on it. It is a medium sized engine so it is nearing time for an overhaul. Most small four banger will be worn out before that granted a Toyota should go past that. Even the Ford Taurus V6 Vulcan is known to go over 200,000 miles, but not much fun doing so. Many big block V-8's can go well over 300,000 miles. But that doesn't mean you won't have to replace valve stem seals or lifters, or main seals along the way.
