Oh come on, what do you call a line, two cars? Well we each have our own experience, and I just don't remember much in the way of gas lines in 73, for a brief period perhaps, but I recall gas lines were much worse in 79. That last one was caused by Carter's poor handling of the Iranian Revolution and the Shaw of Iran. The former was mostly the Arabs being upset that Israel won the 73 Yom Kippor (not sure of the spelling) war.
