Donald,
When you write that "the drug is expensive (about C$300 per treatment)" do you mean for eaach injection or the three injection series. This series appears to be required about every 6-8 months unlike the previous testimonial. But considering the cost of expensive NSAID medications taken several times every day, most writers seem to feel Synvisc is still a bargin.
