Yes, Tom, I did. The quick answer is "Sell The Farm and Buy More".

ATMI's SDS patented gas-delivery system has, according to an Advest analyst with whom I spoke after the meeting, achieved an 8% market share in its first year - "phenomenal". It can shave up to 10% off the cost of chipmaking, according to Gene Banucci, plus it is safer.
The analyst later remarked "they (the semi mfrs) wold just kill for even 1% cost reduction".

What are ATMI's chances for landing Intel? "Pretty good" (analyst). (Wow - wouldn't THAT be something?)

The SDS system also has potential applicability well beyond the semiconductor industry, Gene believes. ATMI may pursue some of these opportunities.

Further acquisitions are a clear possibility.

The ACDS & Lawrence mergers provide ATMI with the marketing and distribution infrastructure it needs, and therefore is a smart strategic move - I guess as opposed to growing it internally.

Net net, I am more positive than ever about the stock. My only cause for hesitation is the fact that the two acquisitions place nearly 50% of the company's stock in two individuals; what if they want to unload?
