Bush is the greatest post WW2 champion of deficit spending although Reagan was close. Lets return to the budget surpluses of the 90s.

Crude oil was selling for $10 per bbl when Reagan was in the White House.

There was no "budget surplus" in the 90's when you take out SS shenanigans, and for what fiscal restraint there was at that time, you can thank Newt and a temporarily sensible GOP Congress.

Read the Constitution, Presidents don't "spend", Congress does. And I'll be the first to condemn the GOP Congress for outDeming the Dems in fiscal irresponsibility this decade.

As for oil prices, just wait and see what will happen if Billary or Obambi get elected with a Dem Congress to rubber stamp and enact their regulatory and taxing statist nightmare of an agenda...
