I don't think so.

Not at all.

The 'Dem base' may be expected to vote for the Dem nominee, regardless. (You don't *really* imagine that CA or NY isn't going to, do you? <g>)

Thus: Clinton's relative degree of strength in the traditionally Dem states seems to add nothing extra to the pull most any Dem nominee could expect against a GOP opponent in the Fall, anyway.
