In addition, the attacks on Hillary are same-o (sp?), same-o. People have heard this stuff for years and it doesn't carry the weight it once did. Obama, however, is a new punching bag. If he's the candidate, the Limbaughs of the world will rip the bark off him in record time..

Kate, do you think that when they get all the "bark" off him his negatives will be as low as Hillary's?

In other words, do you think they'll be as successful painting him with what little they might find as they were with Independents, Republicans and others using the mountains of grist that Bill and Hillary gave them and considering all the years they've employed it?

I can't see it.

Winning a little less than half the faithful in the Democratic primaries won't help her much in the general election. What's worse, even though I'm diametrically opposed to McCain's foreign policies and the appointment of his "conservative" judges and I'll vote against him, I like him better than Hillary in terms of character and ethics and all she would get from me is my vote. I think a lot of us are like that after watching her at her scorched earth work in this primary. Ed
