I think QDEK will be attractive when it gets its long term debt down and shows sustained profitability. Clearly there is redundancy in the offerings of Symantec, CyberMedia, and Quarterdeck. Do I think QDEK is a take over play? Not at this time. However, mergers like the one Soft Key did three years ago can fuel growth. SoftKey, Spinnaker, and a third small company merged. The stock went from the single digits to 50. I had SKEY warrants at 7/32 and they hit 2 1/2
before the smoke cleared.

Further acquisitions? Possibly, although I don't think they will do much this year. They have about 10 million shares of stock to play with and will be cautious. I think they will continue to license products of smaller companies that have good ideas but can't get market share. ViruSafe is an example.
