DJ CORRECT: US Stocks End Higher, Not Lower, On Consumer Stks

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--U.S. stocks finished higher on Wednesday as signs of strength lifted some consumer stocks, including Smithfield Foods and BJ's Wholesale, while a capital raise for the second-largest bond insurer disappointed investors and weighed on financials and insurers, including American International Group.
