Even the most ardent followers know in their heart of hearts that the republican ideals as espoused by talk radio has not worked out. Plenty of ideas on the right and left haven't worked out. Many others haven't been tried. Obama, however, is a new punching bag. If he's the candidate, the Limbaughs of the world will rip the bark off him in record time. Just like the Dems attack Bush, and now McCain, and previously other Republican presidents or candidates. Its not like slinging mud is a one sided thing. Attacks, some accurate, some questionable, some totally unsubstantiated, come from all over in the political game.
