Yeah, that's my problem. My goal is to locate positions that, on average, have a 1-3 year holding time frame. On the short end, its about the duration of a cyclical bear, on the long end, about the duration of a cyclical bull. I really don't want to move more than that, and I don't think it brings anything to your performance. My interest in this thread is primarily in trying to find setups that could yield 4-13 week moves that provide cushion to hold longer term. That, and I like to try and hedge out risk when the market has run my way for a while and I think it might go against me for 6-13 weeks. We're now in the sixth week of one of those times, so I'm looking for a good opportunity to lose the hedges. `BC
