I haven't seen much in the way of proposals for fixing what I see as the problems with our current system.

Maybe you have some personal thoughts on making the system less costly and less adversarial while keeping the current network of private insurers?

When I think about it, I'm always led to an 'off with their heads' decision which simply means replace the private insurers with the government as insurer for the basic health needs of the population.

In an earlier post, you referred to this as nationalizing the healthcare industry. Perhaps you misspoke, because that is not an accurate representation of single-payer systems.
