Bill Clinton is out of office.

I live in Arkansas. If I give money to that Library because I want a nice tourist attraction for my state or even if I want my name on the sidewalk out front, why is that any of your business?

You have several presidential libraries in your state. If you contribute to one of them for the maintenance or for any other reason, why would that automatically become part of the public record?

Would you then want to see your name end up on every charitable calling list in the US?

This is ridiculous, so again, what is the usual protocol because I don't know with regard to a presidential library built after someone is out of public life.
