A crisis between three Latin American nations worsened Tuesday when Venezuela said it was closing its border with Colombia, even as frantic diplomatic talks to stave off war were about to begin.

Of course, the US will send diplomats down to try to negotiate peace. Oh wait.....there are no diplomats in the Bush administration.

Never mind.....the three countries will probably be at war by next week....as the diplomatic vacuum once filled by the former great country, the US of A, grows in size.
