Yes, you are right. But don't cook nor do I rearrange any furnishings. Guess we are set in our ways and with just two of us here, just happy with the way our home is furnished. I don't even entertain changing anything, as feel it is too much work for either of us to contemplate. Life does change in the autumn years of your life but still good in so many ways.

I remember reading about a retired couple who won the lottery and after, she said they could now wake up each morning as if it was a holiday and just decide what they were going to do for the day, either travel or stay home to read or watch TV and rest some more the whole day. They had no financial worries in their life or health problems to deal with. I thought that was so neat for them to be able to enjoy their lives in that manner. Of course winning the lottery helped financially with no worries and they were able to lead a leisurely life with contentment.
