We don't know the procedures, we don't know what kind of controls, if any, are in place, we don't know anything but their promises that they aren't doing anything illegal. That, and the refusal of having any sort of oversight or control at all.

You claim to know illegal acts are occuring. Yet you know nothing about what is actually happening.

This is nothing but politically inspired witch-hunting at the cost of hampering national security.
