There are billions missing from Iraq. Where did it all go? Stolen by crooks I assume. Happens all over the world - China, Africa, etc. We're building a billion dollar embassy in Iraq.....why? Oil is the common denominator. Are you saying we shouldn't have an embassy? As for the cost, I presume security considerations have something to do with that. ----------------------------------------------- OBL didn't do commit 911 and the other anti-American attacks alone. The whole of AQ is our enemy and the Taliban and AQ were/are tied at the hip. The Taliban govt defied our demands to turn over OBL and other AQ leaders and stop their operations in Afghanistan. AQ was a crucial support to the Taliban in their civil war against the Northern Alliance. The above remains true.
