The cheapest house you can build will cost you around $90-100
per square foot. That if you are careful and use really low
quality materials. I think this cost will only go up. I
don't think builders will sell below cost forever, it WILL
end. You can't find houses priced below that in many areas,
but in some areas you do, especially foreclosed properties,
and that is a genuine bargain, IMHO, especially if you can
get a high quality house for, say, $50 per sq. foot in
a foreclosure.
