He-he, this sure smells like 2000 for gold, in some areas -g-
So, even if you see a house for 25% of cost to build, you
won't buy it? -g- Houses in some countries cost
a lot more, and folks living there make a lot less. The
question is supply and demand, and you simply can't supply
new houses way below cost - at least, not forever. Of course,
there are other factors, but I don't really think houses will
be priced below cost to build for a long time. Land prices
can go down a lot, sure. That is speculative.
