Hm. I am perhaps being dense here, but that seems to me to be the same thing. If Congress is under the control of lobbyists and big business, then whose fault is that? I'm less worried about whose fault than who is likely to back them off even slightly. There are many in congress who don't like that influence but don't have the votes and certainly don't have the WH leadership. That's one of the several reasons, as I've said, I prefer Obama to Clinton. He has made it a major part of his campaign. If that could be backed off, then congress would be in a much better position to actually address policy in terms of the needs of the citizenry.
