Yeah, this is actually a decline of 1.7%, inflation-adjusted,
and I am talking about BLS inflation here. Folks have to eat,
and food inflation was, perhaps, in the 5-8% range, according to
Kroger. More of it down the pipe, so WMT will have even better
numbers next year. I have to wonder how much of their nominal
sales increase came from the groceries, though. -g-
