The trend is up. I never made any statement that implied it wasn't. Of course simple extrapolation of a particular trend often gives you wrong information. The trend is up now, but that doesn't tell us to much about the future. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it continues up, but it would hardly shock me if the price decreased instead (esp. with the US and possibly other countries apparently entering an economic slowdown.)
