The IBD article was in yesterday's edition. It's been posted quite a few times. If you retreat to Saturdays postings you will find the article fairly easily.
Jmar is made up by 3(soon to be 4) divisions, Jmar Technology Corp(JTC), Pacific Precision Laboratories (PPL), California ASIC (CATZ). The new one on the block is being purchased, but is in the Semi field.
Jmar has basically funded their R&D, Aquistions, etc.(especially in the last 2 years)themselves, using earned revenues. IBM is a KNOWN huge supporter of Jmar's Technology as is the US Govt. DARPA.
As for XRL, it is a wild card, but a good bet. Dr. Martinez the CEO of Jmar started the Laser program for TRW in the early 70's and to say the least is Quite well respected.
As Martinez pointed out in IBD the laws of PHYSICS does not allow the currently used technology in Chip production to be used in future Semi production. Now their are some that say differently, none of which are recognized as experts, only investors. If you take a good look at this company you will find Martinez to be quite conservative, direct to the point.
The company at this moment is just heading up(even without XRL). If XRL pans out(IMO not if, but when)this company's value would be anyones guess. Certainly this information will be most likely settled and known to all by the end of the Year. Reading the Past 10q postings on edgar is the best way to find out what is happening.
This company is definetly no flash in the pan. |
