Tim, significant portions of the productivity gain numbers are myths. look into hedonic pricing and chain weighted dollars. the stuff manufactured outside of the usa becomes more expensive as the dollar gets pesoed by bush. california is looking at substantial tax hikes to cover its $15 billion debt. the irony here is that the ca government makes 30% more money than when arnold was elected - and it still isn't enough. i hurt current inflationary pressure annualized is 7.5%. this country is in for one big world of hurt, imho. hold on tight.
