I have the satisfaction of knowing the driveway has been shoveled twice, and waiting for it's third attack. I can indulge myself in almost anything today as it is almost an inside day (though we have both been out early this morning on separate errands). And I hope there is now harmony for those who slid off the road and ran into each other that I passed by on the way home. I am thankful for four wheel drive.

As I came to the first accident after waiting for an oncoming car on an S curve, the man helping the one accident pointed up the road as I was getting ready to move on and another car was sliding down the path backwards. He moved safely to the other side of the road and I, and I assume the others back of me were able to move on. It was a little treacherous this morning as salt trucks had not been out. I heard later that some cities were sharing snow plows.
