Time to fold this board? MIDLOTHIAN, Texas (Thomson Financial) - Chaparral Steel Co said its investors have approved the 4.2 bln usd takeover of the company by Gerdau Ameristeel Corp. Chaparral said 99.7 pct of the votes cast at a special meeting were in favour of the deal, representing about 75 pct of the total outstanding shares.
