normal new apartment in Copenhagen city or a decent 1000-2000 sq.feet house in a suburb is $700,000. If you go 30 miles away from the city, you can go down to $400,000 for a similar house. If you want something bigger than 2000 sq. feet in Copenhagen area, that is less than 30 years old, the cheapest houses currently for sale are $1 million. Here is one in an area that I'd consider cheap, with the busiest Copenhagen railroad as neighbor: Income that an individual would make that would buy $700,000 house would be? Standard wage for working 37 hours per week taking care of children: $42,000 per year - Standard pay when unemployed (unless you have special insurance): 32,000 per year I am in shock with these figures. Taking care of children meaning being a teacher or a Nanny? Income on higher end of scale would be what? Nanny here about $24000 per year live out. Teacher elementary about $35,000 rough figure Tax rate on income ?
