As an owner of a manufacturing business, I've given it some thought as per the applications that would seem most logical for Patriot's chip.
I've more or less come to some basic conclusions I feel pretty strongly about.

The initial usage ( sale) of the chip will be for some cheap low cost ( limited shelf life) product. NC's , notebooks , cell phones may come but I would not hold your breath this year yet.

Be it a smart watch, smart toasters or video game players, these are high volume, low ticket items with high model turnover.
If the chip falls on its face its not has hard to cut bait with a product like this. Model life is usually 90 to 120 days on average anyway.

Putting them inside DELL computers or NOKIA cell phones is a decision, once made, is hard to just walk away from tomorrow.

Sort of like the difference between changing course with a row boat compared to an aircraft carrier.

The chip makes sense for a company who is trying to make an immediate market impact with a new technology that can be mass produced at very very low inital costs ( let's say under $100.00)

The names associated with such a product I don't beleive will be a household name but have to be the key inital focus in my view.

Then again.. Nintendo or Sega may be a perfect fit. Know what I mean?
Heck... How about a smart shoe that monitors your running style and adjusts the shoes accordingly. What do you think Nike?

Ok.. the shoe deal may be a bit far fetched but I think you get the idea.

Any thoughts?
