First, I have no idea what the cost is - only what you have posted. Second, I have no frame of reference as to the cost - what does our embassy in France cost, for example, or what would it cost if we had to build one today? In another post, I gave a comparison to an airport terminal, a building that services millions. How many office buildings in Houston cost a billion dollars to build; how many hotels; how many condo buildings etc. Do you have no sense of what's reasonable? We should both be incensed as Americans. Instead, you pull your punch because a GOP admin. is building it. And so, this country is in decline.
