The world hasn't grown to hate America over the past 7 years, thats just the hard left projecting their feelings onto others.

America (and particularly the Bush adm) is very popular in black Africa, also India and many other third world countries, nto to mention the former Soviet bloc countries. And a number of western nations have in the past few years rejected govts hostile to the US and elected governments warmer to the US (and to the Bush adm) - namely, Canada, France and Germany.

You're in denial.

"Arar was traveling on a Canadian passport when he was detained at a New York airport in September 2002 during a stopover on his way home to Canada from vacation in Tunisia. He claims he was a victim of extraordinary rendition — or the transfer of foreign terror suspects to third countries without court approval."

Hmmmm....why was the guy detained in the first place?
