Kerry was/is an elitist a$$hole who thinks he is smarter than everyone else, Not a comment on Kerry really, but I have no idea when we as a nation started voting for people "just like joe schmo who lives next door". Its a recipe for disaster as we have seen. Vote for average leaders, get average results, or less in this case. Bill Clinton was someone of high intellectual capacity who could successfully talk to the masses. So it can be done.
